UEFA Champions League.

The UEFA Champions League is a yearly soccer tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). After a number of qualification rounds the actual UEFA Champions League starts with group matches in August/September and ends with a single Final match in May of the next year. The first UEFA Champions League (as successor of the European Champions Cup) was played in the Season 1992/1993.

Note that qualification matches, before the so-called group stages, are not taken into account for the computation of the UEFA Champions League Ranking Tables according to Maas' Rating System.

For this All-time Ranking Table no Rating Scores are assigned to teams that have less than three appearances during the complete period since the 1992/1993 season. The results of such teams however are taken into account for the computation of the Rating Scores of the other teams. The results of the teams with less than three appearances are presented at the end of the Ranking Table, after the results of the teams for which a Rating Score has been computed.

Five-seasons-moving Ranking Tables UEFA Champions League.

For the sake of readability the five-seasons ranking tables are indicated by the year of the last final within the selected period, e.g. the Ranking Table for the seasons 1992/1993 u.i. 1996/1997 is simply indicated with: 1997 and so on.
